Sibelius Software Limited Murrin Associates was engaged by the founding shareholders of Sibelius Software Limited, a leading music software company with products for professionals, educators and students who use computers to write, teach or learn music. The role was to advise the founders personally through the process of selling their business. This was completed in July 2006, when the company was acquired by Avid Technology, Inc (a US company quoted on NASDAQ) for approximately $23 million.
Bladonmore Training Murrin Associates has worked with Bladonmore, a communications and training company, to deliver bespoke training courses to corporate clients in the areas of finance and corporate governance. Clients have included Ernst & Young, Primary Group Limited and Kingfisher plc.
Xfi Centre for Finance and Investment, University of Exeter Murrin Associates was engaged in April 2004 to undertake business development over a two year period for the new Xfi Centre at the University of Exeter 's business school. The Xfi Centre was established following a substantial private endowment to become a centre of excellence specialising in financial research and teaching in the areas of fund management, corporate finance, corporate governance and leadership in financial institutions. |
