22 March 2011 - Fenkle Street LLP commences hotel project in Newcastle
Fenkle Street LLP is a development company formed to undertake the conversion of an office building in the centre of Newcastle into a 148 bedroom Hotel Indigo with a Marco Pierre White Restaurant. The project is being funded under the Business Premises Renovation Allowance Scheme. Chad Murrin has been appointed to in a Non-executive role at Fenkle Street LLP to monitor the project on behalf of investors.
20 April 2010 - Chad Murrin completes the Certificate of Training Practice
Chad obtained the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's Certificate of Training Practice qualification and become an Associate member of the CIPD. "I have been an independent trainer for some years now and acquired much experience. However, to win training projects - particularly in the public sector - it is helpful to have formal accreditation. The CTP is the ideal qualification for independent, professional trainers” said Murrin.
5 April 2010 - Downing Absolute Income VCT 2 plc completes successful fundraising

10th February 2009 - Murrin Associates Limited celebrates Fifth Anniversary
Chad Murrin stated: "I am very pleased to reach this milestone. I incorporated the company on 10th February 2004, having spent a long corporate career with the venture capital company 3i. I have managed to develop an independent consulting and training business and build up a practice as a Non-executive Director. In the past five years, I have undertaken some fascinating assignments for some great clients. The variety has been tremendous."
31 January 2009 - Construction Skills Certification Scheme
"Being a Non-executive Director of a building company (Beard Construction) and of a recruitment company (Setsquare Recruitment) supplying labour, technical and professional staff to the UK building industry, I visit building sites quite frequently. I have therefore completed the health and safety test and have obtained a CSCS card. This saves time when I visit sites and shows my colleagues that I take safety as seriously as they do” commented Chad Murrin.

2007 - Chad Murrin obtains new Corporate Finance Qualification
Chad Murrin has been granted the Advanced Diploma in Corporate
Finance by The Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. The Corporate
Finance Faculty is the largest body of professionals involved in
corporate finance. The new qualification has been developed by
the ICAEW for practitioners and those attaining it may use the
designation "CF" after their name.
